he motet Ave verum Corpus, for 4 voices, orchestra and organ, [KV 618] was composed by Mozart on the 17th of June of 1791, six months prior to his death.

Even today this touching piece is still included in the liturgy of the Catholic Church. With its 46 bars it takes only a few minutes to play this piece of Classical simplicity.
