rdinances laid down in 1512 by King Ferdinand, in the name of his daughter Joanna, after consultation with members of the Royal Council and legal and other experts, relating to the rule and treatment of Indians on the island of Hispaniola; conserved in the National Record Office in Simancas.

The facsimile comprises 14 folios, 32 x 22 cm, tied together with ribbon in a presentation case. Introduction by Professor Manuel Ballesteros Gaibrois of Madrid Complutense University, transcription and diplomatic study by Professor José Manuel Ruiz Asencio of the University of Valladolid.

Limited edition of 500 numbered copies certified by notary.
