Manuscript XIth Century:

  Donation made by "El Cid Campeador" to the Church of Valencia and to its bishop D. Jerónimo Visquio (the Castilian Hero´s Army Chaplain).

  The only one with the Cid´s autographic subscription. Visigothical lower case. Valencia, 1098 (543x421 mm).

  As it itself states: "This is the oldest book in the Church of Valencia". It was taken by bishop D. Jerónimo to the city of Tormes some time later.

Manuscript XIIth Century:

  Donation made by Doña Gimena, following the example of her husband, to the Church of Valencia two years after the death of "El Cid"; the bishop receiving a tenth of what she possessed and would possess. Sisigothical lower case. Valencia, 1101 (480x280).

Commentary Volume:

  This includes "Cantar del Mío Cid", with the respective Scientific Study of the documents, also including the transcription and translation of them, carried out by well known professors and academics.
