he Mus. Hs. 16.501 from the Music Collection of the Austrian National Library in Vienna contains the various autographs of Haydn´s old hymn to the emperor "Gott! erhalte Franz den Kaiser". This melody was the national anthem of Austria for over 140 years - only with one interruption - and is today the national anthem of Germany.
