Map of the Mississippi

he map shows all of the basins of the Mississippi River and its tributaries, including illustrations of all the Indian village settlements. The map was produced between 1682 and 1684 and shows the intention of the French to establish in Louisiana.

The map is dedicated to the Excelentisimo Señor Duque de Jovenazo by Armando Arce, Baron de Lohantan.
