Two Contrasting Scales of Large and Small Figures are Surrounded by a Mosaic of Pebble-Like Glyph Forms
16th Century

#

[T]he Paris manuscript (known as Peresianus because of the name, Perez, written on it) is much damaged by the flaking of the plaster at the edges of each page. The graphic-style is crowded: two contrasting scales of large and small figures are surrounded by a mosaic of pebble-like glyph forms."

G. Kubler
The Art and Architecture of Ancient America, p. 219, Harmondsworth 1975

"The facsimile is a reprint of the colour edition of Codex Paris by Léon de Rosny but bound as a screenfold. Accompanying pamphlet in German includes reproduction of the photographs of the 1864 edition, colour photographs of two pages of the original, and English summary."
