The two facsimiles are stitched, the covers corresponing to the original, the bilingual commentary (German/English) is bound in a hardcover binding. The brilliant legibility of the music is faithfully reproduced in the facsimile which makes possible an exact study of a Mozart's masterpiece without the valuable original having to be used. The Edition consists of the so-called "Arbeitspartitur" with Mozart's first outline of the requiem and the complete "Ablieferungspartitur". »... probably the most beautiful, because true to the original-Estonian and on the basis of photo-mechanical master-technology a perfectly legible facsimile-edition of a Mozart-work... Added to the two manuscript-volumes, Günter Brosche has produced a bilingual decriptive text, that in his accustomed meticulousness and precision describes the formation of the work. |
