ritten by Aeneas Silvio Piccolomini, later Pope Pius II, and published in Venice in 1477, this work is a compendium of the scientific and geographical knowledge of the time; the copy reproduced is that used by Columbus for the preparation of his voyages, with his manuscript annotations, and now kept in the Columbian and Chapter Library in Seville Cathedral.

The facsimile contains 300 pages of approximately 22 x 20 cm. There are two accompanying volumes containing a translation by Professor Antonio Ramírez de Verger of the University of Seville and a study by Professor Juan Pérez de Tudela of Madrid Complutense University.

Limited edition of 980 numbered copies certified by notary.
