ne of the four Maya codices to have survived to the present day, the Trocortesian Codex is today conserved in the Museum of America in Madrid. It dates from the 14th century and came to Spain in two parts, one with Cortés himself and one with Juan de Tro. Drawn on both sides of a 6.82 m length of fig-bark paper folded like an accordion, it includes divinatory almanacs on a number of themes.

The accompanying volume includes an introduction by Professor Manuel Ballesteros Gaibrois and a study by Professor Miguel Rivera Dorado of Madrid Complutense University (summary in English available). Limited edition of 980 numbered copies, certified by notary.
